This site (killietrust.org & killietrust.com) endeavours to protect our users' privacy.  Although it is possible to visit most pages on the site without having to disclose any information about yourself, sometimes we do need information to provide the services that you request.  This privacy statement explains the collection of use of personal information submitted in those situations.

Collection and Storage of Personal Information

You will be asked when we need to be provided with information that personally identifies you.  When sending an e-mail via the contact form, feedback form or "E-mail to Friend" form, we require that you provide us with personal information such as your name and e-mail address.  This information is not stored in any way other than in the e-mail being sent to the specified individual and is discarded as soon as the e-mail is sent.  Any personal information entered into our guestbook is done so at the user's own risk and is stored in a database for output on the guestbook page.

When making a purchase, (e.g. Killie Trust badge or killietrust.com e-mail address) you may be required to provide further personal information such your postal address or telephone number.  This information is stored on our server until such time as it is first accessed by a website administrator, after which it stored offline or deleted.  You will never be asked to provide credit card information.

This site also collects information about your computer system.  This may include IP address, browser type, operating system, access times and referring webpage URLs.  This information is used for the operation and maintenance of the service and to generate statistics on the use of the website.  These statistics are never linked with personal information submitted by the user.

Use of Personal Information

Personal Information collected by this site is used for the following purposes;
  • To be able to identify you as a member of the Killie Trust.
  • To be able to reply to any contact or feedback you have given us.
  • To contact you in the form of newsletters.
  • To be able to publish content which is most relevant to you.
Control of Personal Information

This site and the Killie Trust do not rent, sell or share any personal information about you with other people or non-affiliated organisations unless we are requested to by law.

This site may send out periodic e-mails informing you of Killie Trust related news or to confirm your request of one of our services.  You will not be able to choose to unsubscribe to these e-mails, as they are considered an essential part of the service(s) you have chosen.

Security of Personal Information

Use of Cookies
