The Killie Trust

The Kilmarnock Supporters' Society Ltd (The Killie Trust) will be officially launched at 19:30 on Friday 22nd August in The Park Suite at Rugby Park.  The aim of The Killie Trust is to promote, develop and support Kilmarnock Football Club and the game of football within the community.

Through membership from the supporters of Kilmarnock FC, we will aim to provide direct and indirect influence over the running of the football club and ensure that the opinions of the supporters are considered when the board of directors make decisions affecting the club.  Speakers on the night will include Cathy Jamieson MSP, Justice Minister for Scotland.

Further Notes:
The Trust has been constituted as an Industrial & Provident Society with the assistance of Supporters Direct in Scotland, a Scottish Executive funded body, aimed at assisting fans to play a more meaningful and positive role in the affairs of their club.  In Scotland, Trusts have now been, or are in the process of being, established at Aberdeen, Celtic, Dundee United, Hearts, Hibs, Motherwell, Partick Thistle, Rangers, Falkirk, Morton, Montrose, Raith Rovers, Dumbarton, Hamilton, Stirling Albion, Berwick Rangers.  Several others are in the pipeline.  Throughout the UK, over 60 Supporters Trusts have already been established.  Several Trusts now own a majority interest in their Club.
