The premise for this initiative is simple...if you are an active adult member of the Trust when we draw a name from the proverbial hat at half time against Dundee Utd at Rugby Park on December 17th then you are in with a chance of walking away with £1,000 cash to make your festive season all the more merrier. The odds of you winning are far greater than the chances of scooping anything on the National Lottery and all you have to do to enter is submit your £10 fee with your Trust application form and that is you in the draw.

Membership is a key area for the Trust and that is why we have decided to go down this route with a cash incentive to try and get more people involved so they can know more about the organisation, what we do, and even get involved if they want. Each of our ten board members has agreed to bring in ten new members, which will cover the cost of the prize money, but of course we are hoping to attract a lot more people into the bargain.

Football Trusts all over Europe are in the ascendancy and fans are starting to have a better say in how their own club is run, to the extent that many are now taking over from the "money men" who were endangering their clubs' very existence. The Killie Trust are well organised and respected in the UK but to be able to maintain that we have to build a bigger support base because ultimately there is strength in numbers and the more people we have involved then the easier things will be for all of us and we can make a real difference.

If you are a Killie fan and you believe that the views of the people who are the very fabric of the club should be heard, then you should become a member of our Trust. If you are a Killie fan and you want to help ensure that there always will be a club for you, your children and their families to support then you should become a member of our Trust. If you are a Killie fan and you want to see the club run in a sustainable fashion, being part of the community and producing our own talent then again we say... become a member of our Trust, be a part of it...and with any luck get a Grand In Your Hand as well!
