» The Killie Trust "Play at the ToP" Auction
20th May 2008
The club and the Trust are getting together to put on a match at the Killie Festival (Open Day) in which fans will take on an 'old crocks' select of former Killie stars on the hallowed turf of the Theatre of Pies. To allow as many fans as possible a chance to take part the Trust will be fielding two teams, each of which will play for a twenty minute half.

We are auctioning off each position (apart from the two No.6 shirts) in the same style that 'Football Aid' do, starting with the goalie for "Team One" on Tuesday 20th May at 21:00 in the "Auction Action" forum. Each auction will last exactly 24 hours with the highest bidder within the allotted time frame winning the right to play on the day.

The Auction Action board can be found here.

The remaining two places (one for each team) will be auctioned off at the Killie Trust Summer Ball on Saturday 7th June and will be for the captain of each team. The captain of each team will get awarded a new replica top with their name on the back (if the strips are ready in time!) and Sandy Ferguson should be on hand to take some team photos which we will then email to all the participants.

Hopefully we will get all the positions sold because all the proceeds will go towards FFTF and credit where it is due to the club for allowing this to take place. On the day in question if any substitutions are needed they will come from the other Trust team. Participants should turn up on the day (exact time to follow) with suitable kit (boots, socks & shorts etc.) and we'll hopefully have a set of tops for each squad for the match, but bring one of your own just in case.
